But I still see who is online. | That is what I'm referring to...seeing what everyone online is looking at. Quote: |

#6 | | | Thats invasion of privacy..LOL
I don't see the importance of seeing what others are viewing, what am I missing here?
Many times I am viewing my own threads to see how badly I spelt, also I am not real good with words, so I read my own words to learn how to improve.
To me it doesn't matter whom is reading what, only that they are here being apart of the team.
That little tool should only be available to Mods & Admins, it causes more problems than its worth, it fuels (judgement)....not good.
Someone needs to explain why it is important (or needed) that all members can see where I am at on the board, and what I am looking at, how does this help the forum? and or help me the member you feel a need to keep track of?
Not Good...at all!
There's enough judgements made just by reading Post's, after all we do live in a world of "who can you trust", I can tell who walks with me just by who responds to my threads and who don't, I don't use that little tool offered to watch others and what they do...frankly.....its not my buisness, as I cruise down the posts and respond to threads I feel interesting and or I maybe of help, when I get to the bottom I do check and see whos online.
I apologize, but I simply don't understand why members feel a need to know where I am and what I am looking at...how does this help the forum, how does this help your decission to post, or not to post?
This ones over my head?, help me to understand.....PLEASE.

#8 | | | No No No, I am not taking it personal, I am just curious.
Everyone is different and I do pray we all get along, I am here for the animals actually, I enjoy people, I rely on there help, BIG TIME, without friendship Dani, I am lost, I am not afraid to admit that.
I send out an e-mail, or maybe an IM, I don't understand the need to know they are reading it, I usually know they got the message when they reply...and or get the hint....when they don't reply...LOL
Its hard to tell exactly how one feels about another in the world of black and white, if not for those little LOL's and funny little Icons, many times I would think folks HATE me.
I just don't see a need for folks to see where I am at, what I am reading...I don't understand how this helps anyone, Many times I send e-mails, I receive a message that it was delivered okay, but I don't know why it would be important to know that that person is reading my e-mail and when they read it.....this would only say to me..."oh, you got my E-mail, you read it, but you didn't answer, Fine, if thats the way your going to be".
I am sorry Dani, I mean no disrespect, I would say no to that little "know where your at, know what your reading option", a good example is "you thought I was taking this subject Personal", I am sorry you misunderstood, I was voicing my opinion and asking for opinions, nothing personal about it!
Peace.
