Check your option and see if you have them enabled, check box is below submit reply.

oh nm. it still isnt working....... and I dont know what else to do...... it started right after you changed the skins. so it may have something to do with that.. and I have no idea how to correct......

you just wont get any messages with those to the right of this page...... unless i go into the (more) section.

Lavender, down lower on the page, below where the submit reply button is, there is a section called "additional options". Make sure the box labeled "Disable smilies in text" isn't checked.

thank you ... that box has never had a tick in it.. anyway i went through all the items on reply message and found the culprit not sure why it changed.. but heres a screen shot of the yellow box that i had to click on to get emiticons.

nate I think you are right about size of text.. as I have to keep changing it... my computer is set up to a size 2 and here they go to a size 1 and as soon as I change the size to a 1 it seems to work. must have something to do with all the changes as my text was this size before all the changes. I will just have to remember............. when using them.............thanks all......
