Default If I had but one wish

I wish Parrot Chatter was photo friendlier, this copy and pasting photos from photo bucket is getting old, I see others posting photos in thumbnail format.
I used to be a member of a forum where all one had to do was click on attachments and upload full photos directly from your PC, guess this consumes to much memory.
Oneday Photo bucket is gonna say..."your limit has been reached", now get out your wallet...to ad more....
Anyways...soon enough...I will have to stop posting photos, simply can't efford to pay monthly dues to photobucket...

Arty, you can upload them as attachments, just like you said! When you start a new thread, or reply to a thread, look down below the "submit" button. You'll see that button to "manage attachments". That lets you do the thumbnail thing.

You can also use our own gallery as opposed to photobucket! Top of the page, lower of the two navigation bars, left hand corner. There's the link to the gallery. You'll see a button there to upload photos. Easy as pie!

I used to use photobucket, but finally figured out there's no point! We've got our own perfectly good photo gallery here.

Arty just open another user id over there if yours is too full. I have three of them.

You're welcome! The only thing I don't like about our gallery is that sizing can be an issue. I make sure my pics are sized at 800x600 when I upload them. With today's monster megapixel cameras you can end up with geenormous pics. I use a free little program called Shrink pic that automatically resizes as I upload. That saves me having to keep one original full size copy for archival/printing purposes and another smaller copy for uploading/emailing.

My computer also resizes - & of course Photo bucket does as well. Message Board size or email size is nice.

Boy Arty you sure must have a lot of photos! I thought i had tons.

One of the problems i have is i want to store my photos on a separate HD so my computer isn't slow - older tech you know. When it's off the connection to the thumbnails is lost, right??
