Default I still want a Great Billed Parrot...

*straight face*

I do have an extra cage (they need at least a 'Too sized cage). The bird runs about $1,800. If I get more time...then I may just HAVE to get one Perhaps in the next year, if time permits...

Here is a video of an adorable GB. GB are a little larger than a male VOS Ekkie. I want to say around 650 grams.

What a doll! Now I want one too!!! She seems so gentle. Ruby would of had those toys all over the place in 10 seconds! Aren't her wings pretty! Thanks for showing us Mrs. Dr. Dolittle!

I kinda wish that I had gotten the one that I saw down at Valle Birds. Oh, was he ever the cutest little baby, what with that HUGE beak! So adorable... Financially I wasn't in the right place and as always, I have to be cautious about noise levels of any pet that I have.

You've been talking about Great-billeds for a while now and have done your research. If you have the room in your heart and home for another fid, I say go for it! No need to rush out today, of course: whenever you feel ready.

And you know that I'll have to come down and visit then, right

hehe I know! I keep going off and on and off and on! I really have a heart for the lesser known birds. Then again last time I acted on that lesser-known-parrot-love, I ended up with Prinny, my Patagonian, and her constant screaming is a nightmare! Ughh.

Yes, I think IF I ever get another fiddie, that will be the one.

JOE! May I PLEASE quit my job and just stay home and play with the animals all day?! PLEASE?!!! lol

Heck yea! Come down and stay as long as you want any time! I just ask one thing of you...please pull some weeds in the yard while you're here LOL

I can pull weeds. Just don't ask me to catch palmetto bugs or house centipedes (*ick*)!

I'm so jealous that you have a Patagonian conure. They are illegal to own here in NJ They are really quite different compared to other conures, aren't they?

Yay for unusual parrots! I consider myself lucky to have happened upon a brotogeris parakeet. They're rarely seen in the pet trade anymore (I did one happen upon a Canary-winged recently) and they are SUCH a great companion parrot.

Again: I'm of no help but when you feel that you're ready for the commitment, GO FOR IT!

LMAO I'm bound to listen to my ladies Susan and Leigh! I'm so naughty! I want THE WORLD, for goodness sakes. It is fun to think of, though.

Eliza...there are NO roaches or centipedes in my house! NO way!! The only roaches I have been seeing outside on our property are like 3/4 inch baby ones....which are dead anyways so *pfew*!
