Default They didn't have a chance

Here in the USA, millions of song birds and other small animals are killed by stray cats each and every year, now add mankind and his her progress and pollutions and try and imagine there world of survival.
Please visit this site and read this very sad story of the Plight of 2 baby Morning Doves that never had a chance of living the life given to them.
MatthewJCook.com - Plight of the Mourning Doves
Please try and understand, there is a natural food chain put in place by Mother Nature, The feline is not a part of the natural food chain here in North America, this little animal was imported into the USA.
The feline at large has by all means became a NORM here in the USA and this will have a devastating effect on our wildlife, including our natural predators such as Owls, Hawks, Raccoons and there are others.
The facts are, our natural predators are now starving due to the feline at large.
Currently there are programs such as TNR, this is where the stray (feral) feline is trapped, neutered, then released back where the cat was found.
Do you think that by neutering a feline turns the animal into a vegetarian?
No. it doesn't, these cats are returned to the wild to continue there killing ways, and the general public continues to contribute to the feral population, why?, because there currently are not strict enough laws that govern cat ownership.
Our current system is failing, shelters continue to fill, and the TNR program also continues to fail, it fails wildlife.
Those that trap cats and neuter them and then turn around and release the animal back into the wild are no different than the person that allows there cats to roam freely, its like letting your 3 year old child outside saying, "see ya later, watch for cars, and stay away from the neighbors child, he is sick, oh yea and by the way, the neighbor down the street doesn't like you so look out, he may shoot you!".
There is a answer, support Keep Cats Indoors.
Please visit this link and read how you can help.
Birds and Cats - The Cats Indoors! Campaign
Sadly the majority ruin it for the others, in some countries the laws that govern feline ownership have become so strict that owning a cat as a pet has become almost impossible, why wait for that to happen here in the USA.
Why continue to support our shelters (killing machines) with our tax dollars, isn't it past due time to make changes?
Give wildlife a break, TNR fails.
Give wildlife a break, our shelters are not working.
Our children and there children deserve to see and enjoy the same birds and small animals we enjoy seeing and I don't mean in a book at the library.
Fact, 33 birds have become extinct due to the feline allowed to roam freely.
Say NO to TNR, Say NO to your neighbor that lets there cat roam freely.
Visit Birds and Cats - The Cats Indoors! Campaign and do all you can to help.

Cats!!!!! Someone in my neighborhood lets theirs run wild. I can't catch it to find out who it belongs to. I even tried tuna one day. It hides in bushes to try to sneak up on my birds. I make sure I keep their food far away as I can from the bushes. I will check out the websites. Thanks!

I am very aggressive when it comes to this issue, to many have died in my hands due to the stray cat.
People think I hate cats due to my aggressive campaign.
Truth is (Rachel) just had surgery to neuter her, Many tears have fallen here.
I don't allow my (family members) Cats to roam outside freely.
Both are indoor cats and always will be.
Once in a awhile they are allowed to sit outside (on the deck) and enjoy the sunshine and outdoors, they go off the deck and they loose the privilege to be outside.
If your neighbor allows there Cat to roam freely, have a talk with that person!
Continue to try and catch the animal (good luck), call the authorities to come and get the animal.
Here is the USA almost every major city has a (keep you cat on a leash or in the home law).
People just don't care!
Well its time to start telling them (there wrong).
Sadly, the Cat continues to pay the ultimate price.
They pay with there lives.
