Default There just birds

People don't care, if they can't sing, jump, step up, do tricks, say this and or that.
There's no reason to be concerned about them, there just animals.
This is the way it is, this is the way it will always be.
SO WHAT!
Its no big deal!

Amen

I know lots of animals and birds I would choose over certain people any day! God made them and there is no such thing as "just a bird, dog etc." This crazy disposable society we live in.

Oh Arty - don't let it all get you down. If there weren't people like you out there no one would learn much. Every time you help, I think you make a difference. A friend of mine sent me some quotes by Mother Theresa - [paraphrase] she said her work was small, like rain filling the ocean. But without the rain the ocean would not be.

Thanks, Jac, you said it for me. You are doing your seemingly small part of the work & yet, in the process - you are teaching many others around the world that it's not just a bird, rabbit, squirrel, etc.
:sign thankspin: ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

I was having a very terrible day, 2 more pigeons were brought to me, one was cat attacked and the other shot with a pellet gun.
Then lightning struck very close by, it lit the house up and rattled the windows it was so close.
All the birds went into a frantic, none got hurt (thank the lord).
Now both computers are down (were down), I spent days trying to get them back up and running.
I am currently trying to help 2 mated ducks and there babies at my job, they seem to have made the outside garden area of my job there home, and are chasing the customers around protecting there young.
The high winds have blown the neighbors fence down onto my property, what a mess.
Its just hectic here....

I agree with Jessalyn, I would definatley choose any animal over some people. There are more bad cruel people walking this earth today than good. That is why there are so many dogs and cats in shelters with no chance at a life they so deserve. Most will never know the touch of a loving hand. Such a shame! I hate to even leave my house. I moved to Florida almost 3 years ago and see stray dogs all the time, not to mention outright animal abuse I have reported on. But each one of us can make somewhat of a difference, even if we only save one! We just have to make up for all those cruel people who say, it's only a bird, or, it's only a dog!
