On a less destructive note, it even makes it difficult for us to relate meaningfully with our birds. Being pack animals (basically) it is hard for us to relate to flock mentality, which is quite different. Causes a lot of misunderstandings. |
I think over time with having birds and coming to understand their need for a flock and the order of the flock, I truely believe that we adjust to that mentality over time...... its the non bird lovers that cant conform to our flock way of thinking LOLOL
I guess regardless of the flock or pack mentality, myself being a loner with only a few genuine close friends, I dont understand the need to do things to please others. It will get you no where..... I was saddened that those boys chose to continue to make bad choices after they were informed by me, but thrilled that my son was not around and had nothing to do with it.
I look forward to this weekend, when the boys will be coming over and scrubbing and hosing cages.... I have three macaw, two sennies, one tiel, and one poopy pigeon LOLOL
they have plenty of cages to scrub clean!
