I was super duper worried about this dove but you all know that already. Last week we noticed half of the egg on the walkway and I cringed. I didnt think she was there long enough to have hatched a chick. Guess I was wrong! And now its eyes are open so hopefully it will be good to go.

Just wondering where the other little one is?
Usually there's 2.
The hen was ready to lay when the nest was built, that baby is maybe a week and half old, maybe even 2 weeks.

Mated ferals

Im not sure Arty. The nest is very very small and extremely shallow. I cant see her having room for 2 in there. She has been sitting really weird so maybe its on the other side. I try to NOT stare for too long. Dont wanna scare her away. Ill be watching daily now, and ill keep you posted, PROMISE!

The Dove and Pigeon make very flimsy nests, very poor nest builders, I am surprized there aren't more splay legs found in the wild.
But then the main building material is sticks.
I am almost sure there are 2 babies up there, keep a eye on things...

Arty
