Default Re-training a Pigeon

I just got off the phone with a Racing person, seems this person has had success with re-training a few birds, he said he puts soap on the 4-5 flight feathers and lets the bird out, "sure hope there aren't any cats around".
He said some birds have been re-trained, others take off after a bath...LOL...
I explained to him my loft has many windows to allow the birds to get used to there surroundings, and I have in-flights connected outside the loft, at one time I had kept a Hen for over a year and she was sitting on eggs, as soon as I allowed her to free fly away she flew back to her original loft 50 some miles from here, the man chuckled and said re-training works on some birds, Not all...
Sooooo, if anyone would like to risk re-training there birds that have been found....its your call....

Hmmmm...I don't believe I'll risk it. Maybe it'll depend on how far away from my parents' farm I decide to set up camp. I know I want to live in the area. If it's not too far away I could at least try it. That's years down the road though...

Some souls were simply not meant to be trained, they fly free for all to see.
