Here's a new Kid in the loft.
Both parents are pure white, one has a small patch of black on the back of his head.
This is a good example of genetics and how at sometime in there past both of the parents had color.

Hi Jess, those feathers are from the "little ones", otherwise known as the throw away birds, they were thrown to Rose and I, and here they will stay....Tattered and torn, but they kept them warm.....
Hi Missi, in the Pigeon world...Pied is called "splash".
I didn't hand feed this little one, but hold (him/her) everyday.
Kinda keeping my eye on this little one.
Left my reading glasses at work...so best to get off here, so as not to get a headache....

Ha! Throw away birds!! If God's eye is on the sparrow there is no such thing as that! Of course you know this better than anyone. I am just venting. J

How cute Arty....I love the coloring on this one! Well if she is still around the loft when I am ready I will let you know. If I did not have such a zoo here already, I would love a whole coop full of them...well at least a pair!
