HI ARTY,

I realize you are far-far away from us, but I have called every government agency and several people who have rescues and no one seems to be able to help or they flat out do not care.

It would be great if you could provide me with someone I can contact who does care.

We live in the Beaumont / Banning California area, we are either in the Riverside County area or the San Bernardino area.

We are having a huge problem with pigeons dying left and right. We are in a new developement and I was told that there used to be a abondon barn on the property where the pigeons keep returning to. We believe that someone is using poison and perhaps a bb gun, and they are dying all over the neighborhood, mostly, it seems, on our front lawn.

I called and spoke with Vikki, I received all the information needed and contacted the local authorities.
Someone is poisoning Pigeons and Vikki stated the stray cats were dragging the dead Pigeons off.
Vikki has a very sick Pigeon in a box, I advised her what to do and to wash her hands very well after each contact with the bird, Vikki stated that no vet would treat the feral Pigeon, witch is a norm, however there has to be a wildlife center somewhere near her home.
I stressed to the police dispatcher the risks of a child or a pet cat coming in contact with these poisoned birds, I was assured all that could be done would be done.
I am currently waiting for a call from Vikki.

My daughter is the one who has been dealing with the pigeons, as I am disabled and rarely leave my house, but she lives 5 doors down around the corner, and earlier you told me to use her address and I forgot. So please use this address 1675 Midnight Sun Drive
Beaumont CA 92223

thats awful!!! Poisoning any wild animal causes far more problems then it can conceivably fix!! I used to have pick up the victims of out door poisoning of rats. The rat dies and a cat gets it. The cat dies and a possum gets it. The possum dies.............. and I got to crawl under the buildings to retrieve the corpses!!
Sure hope they find who is doing that!!!
