It's almost confirmed that I will be coloring the egglet for Easter. She doesn't want to leave it. I have got her going to her play cage for short periods now, but she refuses to eat there. She'll only eat if she's sitting with her egglet on the cage floor.

Is there anything I can do without damaging the psychological process to get her past this?

LOL!!! She made the deadline, before I colored it. I'm coloring eggs with my grand daughters today!!

Two days ago, she showed more interest to be without the egglet. Yesterday I changed her cage around, put the grate back in and newspapers on the bottom and she decided she likes her daytime play cage MUCH better! She even balked at being put into her sleep cage last night and wanted to spend more time with me playing! So I finally have my bird back and I am thrilled!!
