Hello there Shanlung! It is so nice to meet you. What an interesting life you lead! The photos are truly amazing! I lost my precious tag this year and I will never be the same. I now have silly Ruby which helps tho'! Wish I could free flight her! Not sure I am brave enough! Ruby says "Step Up!"

Grandma and friends,

I have just a few hours left before I head off
to airport again, to the next chapter of life.

Here are some updates

Visits to other people with flighted parrots in Australia

shanlung: A baby Tinkerbell on the Gold Coast

shanlung: Visiting Tiki in Brisbane and end of Australian Chapter

And the visits to Yingshiong and then to Tinkerbell &
her enlarged family over the last few weeks in April

Tinkerbell - A good closure - April, 2008 - shanlung

.

How great to read your updates. Lucky for me I missed the scare about Tinkerbell. Your Shama was really lovely - I was mesmerized. I'm glad he's happy at the bird park & isn't so friendly any more - he will be happier that way, in his new home.

So, after you settle down again - any new plans for another bird friend?

Jac,

Thanks and sorry of this late reply. If you read the other thread I posted up a minute earlier, explanations are loud and clear there.

In addition, the last few days I was engaged in horrendous search for an apartment I am happy to say I got that , and the landlord allows me to have cat and bird. He had no idea what he agreed to
:-)

You can expect sagas of a different type in the near future.

I am happy for Yingshiong.

While it would be great if he flew to me, he was as bloody minded as before. And for him to revert back to semi wild, I think I did my best by him.
