Yes it is! Hi Kathy is that you? LOL Yes, the promo cards are great. I took a few and passed them out, I even gave one to someone in your store who was visiting her baby. Sue (Soopie3480) has joined too. I will take a few more when I am in again. I was at the store tonight and bought my cage and some supplies, you weren't there. I need to a get a few more things and then I am set. I spoke to Christine today and she said Kira should be ready by Friday, but maybe I could get her Thursday afternoon when I come in with Sue, she has to bring Pandora back to be weighed.

I can't wait to get her, but I am also nervous. She was wound up tonight, didn't want to play with any toys and sqwauked alot. Seemed very restless. I imagine birds have their moods too.

Anyway, trying to patiently wait.

It's me!! Thanks for passing out the cards! You will love it here. I saw that Sue joined, too!

Don't worry - we will fill you in with tons of information. The book we give you will keep you very busy too!

As for her being restless, I swear it has something to do with the moon! My birds were very noisy today, which is unlike them. And when you bring her home, expect her to be very quiet the first couple of days while she is adjusting to her new environment. I'll go over everything with you this week. Then it takes about an hour or so for us to "deliver" her as we go over everything with you once again.

Oh you are very welcome. I will get some more and pass them out.

Thanks! I have been reading what I can online. But any information you can give me will be great.

You know what, you are right. Now that I think about it, that grey bird (I think it's an African Grey) that is by your register and there is a white one also (I think it's a Cockatoo) well everytime I have been there they were so quiet and just sat there. Tonight the grey was moving around and make noises and kept twisting it's neck in circles and the other was making noises...they both seemed kind of restless also.

I figured there would be an adjustment period for her, just wasn't sure how she was going to act. Glad you told me that.

I will be there, all ready for her.

Lucille (the African Grey) does do her little "grey" dance every once in a while, but Bobbie, the cockatoo, is quiet as a church mouse! I really do think it is the moon. My caique was just doing this little dance on his stand that had me cracking up! Something he's never done before.

See you Thursday, if not before. Thanks for promoting the site!

Lucille was so cute, that was some dance! Bobbie wasn't quiet tonight when I was there. I think you are right, must be the moon or something. Animals pick up on stuff we don't realize.

You're welcome. Great site, I am so glad I picked up one of those cards and joined.

See you Thursday!

Thank you so much. I have heard alot of good things so far about conures. I am sure I will have plenty of questions. I just finished a little while ago putting Kira's cage together, it's all fixed now and ready for Kira. I can't wait. Thanks! I think Kira is a beauty too. All the birds are all so beautiful.

Yup. The lady who was afraid he wasn't eating. She is going to get a larger bird.
