Hi Barb! Its nice to meet you! Wow, it sounds like you have an amazing family! I think I've heard of birdfarm before...I could be wrong, but aren't they a breeder of the 'exotic exotics' along with other parrots? I think they breed vasas if I'm not mistaken...

Hi everybody! So nice to meet you all! Well you all seem to be interested in my green birds. Of course I have a digital camera and a HD camcorder and will flood you with pictures of all my flock. I have this flickr account so now you all can see my kids. I want to get to know this group some very interesting people.

Angie I don't freefly my birds. I do know of others that do and frequently converse with them. Where I live there is no way I would. I would love to here about your conure freeflying is a dream and love hearing about others that do.

Hi Leigh,

Thank you! His beak is big and red! You know when I have been out in aviary a few times it is the funniest thing. Phil and George hang out together alot. Big and little red beaks. Mutt and Jeff! I have a hummingbird that gets right upon them so close you think he is going to try and plug a nostril.

OK pressure of that beak! I don't know and don't care to find out . He can crack a brazilian nut so that tells me something.

You have quite a groups there yourself! I can't wait to read about everybody else's family's and see pictures. I'll figure out this group and how it works and have a blast!

I really enjoyed all the photos - The day at the beach was very special & I love the outside aviary with Phil & George. They are really something - love Phil's blue head. Your Toos are amazing - some pluck[ed - past?] & some not; how has that been going?

It is interesting that you say you aren't doing Recall but you are doing a version - training your birds to come & allowing them outside with harnesses.

I trained my 1st Budgie to do recall - but not outside - only indoors & still very beginner. However even a little recall makes life a lot easier & I'm convinced they like to know what you want - even if it is to say no.

Thanks for the onslaught of photos - hope they aren't the last!

Hi Jac,

You asked about the birdfarm if it is a rescue? No it is a place to purchase supplies, birds, bird boarding etc...

You also asked about Georges personality. Not anything like a cockatoo LOL. I can hold him but don't touch, he freaks! Loves to babble and moves alot. Will do anything for a palmnut. Very hesitatant about coming to me probably because I really don't work with hime and Phil like I should. They love to hang out together and if in house just stare out window. When in aviary it takes some thinking on part to get them in house because they rather stay out there. Love bathes just about everyday if outside.

Sorry took me so long to answer.
