I live with 7 family members, 3 dogs and 4 parrots. Rosabella, a rosebreasted cockatoo, has been with us for 10 years. She is an excellent flier, capable of great affection, but a little devil because she is so unpredictable. Sergeant Pepper, a military macaw, is our baby...only 2 1/2 year old, also a great flier, we brought him home when he was just a few months old. Francesca is our psycho bg macaw. We adopted her already plucked and out of her mind. We were her 5th home and she was only 3. Now she's 5 years old and has come a long way. I have a real soft spot for Franny. And Ollie, an older wild caught bg macaw of uncertain age, but at least 25 years old, has come to us recently from Best Friends. He has a real wild macaw screech that could seemingly shatter windows, but is a gentle giant of a bird. Sergeant Pepper just chewed up my husband's great grandmother's amoire, which was worth a small fortune

until yesterday. He really keeps us on our toes.
I am primarily interested in parrot health, welfare and conservation.
