August Photo Contest: Personal Favorite!

This month's contest gives you the opportunity to enter your all-time favorite photo of your fid. They're all welcome, whether bathing, preening, sleeping, flying, playing, cuddling, or just plain lookin' cute!

We now invite you to submit your entries for this month's contest. For complete contest rules, please see this thread: ParrotChatter Photo Contest. Please remember: You may submit only 1 photo per bird. You may enter multiple birds.

The contest will remain open until this time next Sunday-one full week. In addition to having their bird's photo in the ParrotChatter banner just as you see the July winner, Birdyland's Tiki, pictured above, the winner will recieve a beautiful photo manipulation of their fid, courtesy of Grandma. Kady and Kita (lovely GW's owned by FeathersNFur8) are offering a $25.00 Gift Certificate from The Birdbrain™ which helps to support the efforts of The Gabriel Foundation®. The Birdbrain™, LLC

Moderators, Admins, and Hosts are not eligible to compete. The voting poll will be put up next Sunday and all members may then vote once for their favorite!

The second one is my entry. The first one is a closer view of it. This is Coqui, (Halfmoon Conure) who passed away back in April.

The picture of his eye is just fabulous- I've been trying to capture a good one of Ollie and thought I had until I saw that one! I'm so sorry for your loss, Coqui was gorgeous.

This is my favorite photo of Valo.... for multiple reasons. For one, these are my 2 favorite men in my life. And also, this was taken when Valo was still a little baby and had just come to live with us. It was before he decided that he only loves me, and it was the very first time he fell asleep cuddled up in a towel snuggling with a human - and it was my BF. Nowadays, this wouldn't be possible - not without a countless number of battle bites
