Devil - how the heck did he do that????
Well all the Macaws are beautiful but the Blue & Gold is my secret fav. Yes Bob is wonderful.

Arthur has a stubborn streak a mile wide. If he wants something badly enough, he'll find a way. In this case he just worked at learning how to shimmy up that (supposed) ceiling protector until he got it right. Then, he practiced his stretching exercises until he could grab the ceiling hook with one foot, and the edge of the acrylic sheet (which we figured would be impossible for any of the macaws to reach--oh, but not Arthur! Goofball!) with the other. Sometimes he hangs like that, and sometimes he just hangs from the edge by his beak!

I should spend more time talking about Bob than I do. He is a WONDERFUL bird--very playful, intelligent, fun-loving and affectionate. He can be very gentle when he wants to, and he has a large vocabulary. All that, and he's strikingly beautiful, too. I love that blue goon more than words can say.

Oh I've been looking forward to this!
