The theme of this month's contest is Upside down birds. This should be a great contest!

Please remember: You may submit only 1 photo per bird. You may enter multiple birds.

Another reminder from the rules: Your submission picture must be accompanied with a short story about the bird or birds pictured, their name(s), and species.

The winner will have their photo featured on the April page of the 2009 ParrotChatter calendar. You will also receive a 2009 calendar as a prize. Also, your winning photo will be displayed on the Parrot Chatter main entry page for an entire month.

All submitted photos must be of high resolution and with a pixel size of at least 1600 x 1200.

The contest will remain open until this time next Thursday-one full week. At that time a poll will be set up for voting!

Ruby would like to enter - sideways, sortof!!!
Ruby will be 2 in July. I have had her about a year and a half. She is the silliest macaw that ever pecked her way out of an egg. You will find her upside down alot hollering, step-up, HELLOOOOOOOOOoooo, or I love you. We spend every day together and are the best of friends.
