Default Molly

Here is Molly, my eastern rosella. I rehomed Molly as previous owner lost interest in her shortly after she got her. I know I am her thrid home, not sure how many before then. Molly is about 16-17 years old. As most know, rosella's are not great pets and prefer to be alone. Molly is no different. DO NOT expect to be able to hold her or you will feel her wrath. LOL She is a very quiet bird and spends much of her time on top of the cage or on the swings just watching things. She will step up for bedtime and that is it. Due to lack of maintenance I have to trim her beak and nails rather often. If her beak is not maintained, the top mandible will grow over the bottom and twist sideways. She absolutely hates it when I do it but it needs to be done. I do love her noises and squeaks though and she is my little rainbow... so colorful.

Molly is lovely. I guess you've tried to get her to chew things? Does she interact with any of the other birds?

Thanks everyone. Molly is about the length of a cockatiel but the body build is bigger. Yes, Molly has all kinds of toys and the one thing she seems to enjoy chewing the most is my window ledges... LOL

She's very pretty Delta. Has she shown any interest in being a buddy with anyone?
