Default Swainsons Toucan

Sorry this is through a cage. This guy was gorgeous. The picture does no justice to him. His colors were neon!

That's a whole lotta beak! But they are gorgeous - I'm curious what the price tag on him is?

Very pretty bird, Maryann! We have two Toco Toucans and a Keel Billed. They are magnificent creatures! When they see me coming with their daily ration (a 30 ounce bowl filled) of fruit, they honk and come to the side of the cage to wait for it! It's adorable!

If I ever get batteries for my camera, I'll take pics of ours -hopefully in flight.

Camille - these birds are sooooo huge!

Here is a Toco:

And a Keel Billed:

And if you are into Toucans - here is another one we had but he sold within a week. He's an Aracari (he was small). He was the sweetest little guy - I fell head over heels in love with him:

We got to see a few of these birds when we went to the "Birds of the Lost Kingdom" last year in Ontario, Canada. They're just breathtaking.

What is the one in dead middle of the first picture, Karen? These guys really intrigue me. Looks like a Mynah bird on the left. Is it? We had two Mynah babies but only one is left. The one that sold on Friday was already starting to talk and it was only about 45 days old! It was so much fun hand feeding them. They eat a moistened Mazuri pellet and you feed them as you would a Robin.
