I've actually had no problems with the 2 problems I highlighted above. Winkie would rather be on a person's shoulder than anything & while he has no fear of our dog or cat, he doesn't attack them.

I do wish I'd known about Linnies when I was looking for a bird. Can talk, GENTLE, gets along with other birds, stays tame even after a period of little handling.

I hear you Leah. I wish I would have known about Linnies before now too. I had never heard of them until a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to buy from a pet store, but I'm tempted to see if any of our local pet stores have any so I can go see one in person. I'm not having much progress in my search for a breeder in California.
