Andi, I was glad to see that the babies were doing better yesterday. Hope that's continuing today. Also just wanted to say that it sounds like you're doing a wonderful job with them, I know how stressful it is when they're sick, and frustrating when you can't get test info quickly. Hang in there!

Thank you Nate and JR. I spoke with the vet last night and she received the bloodwork results yesterday. She said that it's bacterial hepatitis and that the Baytril should kill the bacteria. This morning is their last dose and I am going to weigh them to make sure that they aren't losing any more weight. It would make sense that Mojo probably had the same thing as well.

So the good news is that I have results, they are being treated and it sounds as though they should be fine. Still keeping an eye on them, of course and I have 3 days off to watch them constantly. And at least I don't have to worry about it being something the others would get. So let's just hope it is uphill from here..

Andi... I am so sorry I was not here to help you with this.. We went up north on Monday for the holidays... It sounded like you got some wonderful advise.. Thanks everyone for your help... You are all truly wonderful bird people.

I hope you had a good trip. Everyone here has been so helpful and very nice. The babies look okay this morning, are eating their veggies right now and were in their food dish before that. Last night they were hanging upside down playing with their pinata. We went to bed late so I got them up a little bit ago. As of yesterday Yaki and Tofu gained some weight but Suki was still at 45 grams; this was in the morning. I am going to weigh them this afternoon after my appointment to see if she's just weighing lighter in the morning on an empty stomach...but she was the worst of the three...

I remember it being runny, but I couldn't remember how much. I hadn't actually seen their poop since early summer...at least not on a clean enough surface to identify it. It looks better this morning...or afternoon now. Activity, seems okay... normal climbing around, hanging off the bars.. they look okay..

Yes, it does sound like they are getting better... Thank goodness you caught it early... You are such a good bird mom... I am so happy they are all back with you... I know they must be so happy.

Thank you. I don't know how happy they are right now. I clipped Tofu's nails again and you'd think I was killing him. He did this 'angry squeaky toy' sound with every nail and almost thought I got the quick on one of them, wasn't sure so I packed it anyways, didn't see any blood.

The good news, as of today Tofu is 50 grams, Yaki is 48 grams and Suki is 49 grams. 4 gram weight gain for Tofu, 3 for Yaki and 4 for Suki since last week. Made them a cooking mix today with beans, corn, peas, rice and grains and hoping they eat it. I've been packing absolutely everything in their food dish that they can eat so I hope they continue to gain. I am feeling a little better today about their progress.

I am very glad/lucky to have them.

It sounds like you are doing a great job...They sure do love the cooked foods!
Glad to hear the good news on them... I think they are on the mend... Just keep an eye on them... (I know you will)
