Your video is great. Kiwi was like a dog wanting to get his ears scratched. As tame as Parsley is already, she is still frightened of my hand for some reason. Each day she makes more progress though. Someday I hope to post a video like yours.

You know what? Even though Kiwi loves being petted he still isn't all the way hand tame yet. I can't always get him to do the up command to my finger or hand. But yet he still loves me to pet him. I sometimes do start out petting him using my nose or cheek on his head and that gets him in the mood to be petted. It's almost like I'm preening him. Maybe try that. I don't think they feel as threatened by the face as they might by the hand. Sounds like she is very tame already so I would say the longer you have her she will eventually take a liking to your hand. They are too sweet though hey?!

I tried what you sad and she let me rub my cheek all along her head. I saw a few pin feathers so it probably felt good. Every day she lets me do a little more. I was able to get my hand almost next to her today when OUT of the cage without her turning away. In the cage she wants nothing to do with my hand. You are right. They are too sweet.
