So I have 3 Linnie's, Suki and Yaki are my slate females and Tofu is my green male. A little history... all three of them originally (last spring) came from Denise who did an excellent job with them. So when I talk about them coming from bad living conditions, I am talking about their home inbetween. I saw them all from the day they arrived here and had Suki for the first month before I (stupidly) gave her up. I am very happy to have her back as well as my other two.
They all live together and get along perfectly. Most of my pictures of them are with all three of them squished together and inside or out of their cage it's how they usually prefer to be; whether it's hanging upside down from the top of their cage in a cluster or all three of them lined up on the food bowl in the morning eating their veggies. So enough rambling, here are some pictures of my babies:
Left to right is: Suki, Yaki, Tofu
....and my girls in their water dish:
omg, these are melt worthy! i love how they are sitting with their butts pushed together! and i have never seen the slated colored linnies before, very striking! SO precious, thanks for the pics!
Jac - They are almost always in a little cluster. If I have to separate them for any reason they call to each other until all three are back together. They are extremely bonded.
Josh - I had Suki for the first month and she still remembers how to step up and is the most tame. The other two from when they got here were kept as "breeders". I re-taught them how to step up and they both give me kisses. They are not aggressive at all, just nervous and not used to being handled. So we're making progress....
Leah - Well right now they don't have contact with each other. When I first had Suki she got along with Wasabi, my Parrotlet. Suki was my second bird so at the time they played together until he started being nasty to her. Here are some pictures of Suki in April and Suki and Wasabi:
ONG! - & i thought Budgies were too adorable. Wrong again.
How long has it been since you have had them altogether? It will be interesting to see how this progresses over time. How's Wasabi handling all the Linnies - if he doesn't hang with them?
OMGoodness Andi... they look so good... You are doing a great job with them...
