I'm at work today and we have a client getting ready to come in that breed the lineolated parakeets. One of the techs just told me. I thought of you immediately and told the tech I've never seen one in person before. The tech here is dying to see it and already said she wants one.

I always bring my camera to work for the interesting things we see come through these doors. I'll take a picture for you. I was telling the clinic about you and your birds this morning.

Well that is really funny.... I love being thought of when the word Linnie comes up... I guess I am doing my job well by spreading the Linnie word... Or I am really getting on everyone's last nerve with them... I hope it is the first one...

Please let me know what you think about them..Pictures would be special... I love to see other peoples.... I see mine all the time! But don't worry... I am not getting tired of looking at my sweeties...

Well I didn't take a picture for a couple of different reasons. 1st, yes the bird was sick with a bacterial or yeast infection, can't remember which. 2nd, she kept saying that she's not looking as good as she should so I didn't want to take a picture of her.

She pulled her out for me and let me take a good look at her. I thought she was beautiful. Kind of a teal color? I can't say what it was, but I thought her eyes were beautiful and very unique.

Awww... Lara, it is a shame it was not feeling well... I wish you could have held it.... I know they have the most beautiful eyes... Kind of like touch me, hold me, feel me....
Is it going to come back for a check up? Maybe you can hold it then...

Was the owner a breeder? Or was it just a pet?

Denise, I didn't remember making a follow up appointment for her but I'm sure she'll be back to make sure the infection is gone. Yes she is a breeder but not just of the lineolated. I talked to her for quite a bit. She said she does love breeding them and her love for this little girl really showed through.

Well I hate to say I told you so... ... But these guys are so cool... It touches your heart when a person breeds other birds.. But when it comes to a Linnie, you can't help but let your love (flow) show!
This breed (Linnies)....Mark my words... Are going to be a big attraction some day...
