Default Denise....

Thanks for your post on Linnies. A customer came in tonight interested in one of ours. She asked for information.... so I printed your informational sheet! Well, she couldn't thank me enough for the information *I* authored! Of course, had to tell her it was not me, and that you were kind enough to allow us to post it.

Hope you don't mind that I gave it to her. She bought the Turquoise Linnie!

Question, if you don't mind. She was looking at a 22 x 17 cage. (This one: http://www.mybirdstore.com/Dome_Top_..._X17_X33_.html ) Is that big enough? I told her I would ask the "expert" and let her know on Friday when she comes to pick him up.

Another new Linnie owner... How great is that.
No, I don't mind that you gave out the information.... The more people know the better off the bird is.. Give her my web address if you want to... I would be more then happy to help her if I can.. Or give her this site.. and she can ask me here...

That is a beautiful cage Kathie...Linnies like longer cages... I really don't know what kind of cage she is looking for... They like lots of different kinds, sizes & textures of perches to walk on... They love toys... and my food containers are the hard plastic drawer organizers, I put them on the bottom of the cage... (Linnies are bottom feeders..) Away from the perches, so no droppings fall in... They will not put their head in a covered food dish..
Hope this helps...

Should I recommend a 26 x 20? I felt like a dope. I gave her your sheet and then showed her that cage. She replied "but Denise says about 30" long!!" (If I could have crawled under the floor tiles, I would have!). I told her that's why you are the expert and I am the learnee!!!

Aww Kathie...I'm sorry... She must have been a speed reader...LOL
It is hard to remember all the preferred sizes of cages.... I don't think she is going to hold it against you... At least you are looking for the right answers.. kudos to you...

You know I love the breeding cages...30x18x18... they are not fancy.... but they work perfect for me... so maybe you could find something on that line..

We have them - in fact she pointed to one.... but they are so.....UGLY!!! (Sorry!!) I guess I was looking for something that is good for the bird and aesthetically pleasing at the same time.

I know.... there are so many beautiful cages out there....
And yes, they are ugly.... but with all the stuff in them it does decorate it...
I have like 5 linnie people who I talk with regularly and we all have the same cages... Let me see what else I can find out....

Okay - thanks! We have the flight cage too - not from HQ, but our own company. Same thing though.
