She is so pretty. I love the turquoise coloring...which made me think of the beautiful turquoise jewelry....so how about 'Trinket' for a name?

Did you get to handle the different birds before you decided which one you wanted? Did he trust you enough to get on your finger willingly the first day?

Leah there were only two in the pet store(wish I had the money for both!) I did get to hold them both and play with them for about 15 min. the first time. When we went back I played with them again for about 20 min. I fell in love with the one we have (of course) and DH went and picked him up two days later.

Not only did he step up right away he let me touch him all over his body, he loves kisses and cuddles, he will lay on his back in my hand, and he loves scritches.

He is so calm and loveable!

As I type this he is sitting on my shoulder eating his morning veggies from a plate that I'm holding.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments about our new baby!

I thought of Trinket before because I like it, but I'm also big on the meaning behind the name. I always thought it meant "a little treasure" or something along those lines, but when I looked it up it meant ..thing of little value. ;(

So far nothing is popping out at me in the name dept. , but I know the right name will eventually.
