Thanks. Yes Kismet is my little trouble maker.

He has bitten my lip more than once - always my fault - he is just so cute I couldn't help myself. He sure is quick though and when he bites, he means business!

Clara - your birds are all so beautiful! The first picture you posted could be the front of a greeting card. Magnificent.

Wow, that's a stunning flock, Clara! I just love the Derbyan and they can be found in Australia. I am seriously considering a Psittacula as my next bird!

(Blushes) Gee thanks everybody. Tara - you really ought to get one they are so great as so many people here could attest. Course you might have to have a different cage for them. They may not go too well in your aviary - then again...... maybe....... ?

What are their personalities like? Are they agressive or passive around other birds? I heard that Malabars are very gentle and can be kept with Tiels and others.

Honestly, it really depends on the bird. Kismet - I would say no way. Indy - he used to ride in a carrier with baby Tiels, Lovebirds, Budgies, Canaries etc He is a very non confrontational bird. So it is possible that they could if there is enough space and you can keep an eye on them when introducing. Males are more easy going than the females - girls can be quite hormonal.

Simba, my african, seems to be a little bossy, but I have heard they are also not too aggressive.

Plumheads should definitely be fine.

Derbyans - I am not sure - I don't normally have my ringies with him, but he gets along fine with Simba.

So I guess it is possible to have them together, you would just have to watch the birds to see how they do and keep in mind that the girls may not do as well as the boys.

Hope this answers the question.
