Question Question??

Ok, this has been eating away at me for sometime...
I was watching a show on TV and they had a parrot on there that had a fairly all green body except for its cheeks where bright orange. I didn't see how far the orange extended down. Does anybody know what kind of bird this is???? I have been looking everywhere and I can;t find it anywhere.
It had a sort of conure shaped body, and it was pretty long but I can't say how long because its hard to tell from TV. PLEASE HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!

THANK YOU!!

Maybe it was an Orange-winged Amazon?

Quote:
The Orange-winged Amazon is green from head to tail, with the under parts a bit lighter green, the feathers on the back of the neck and upper back being edged with a dusky black, and there are hints of blues in the throat and on the crown. The tail is green tipped with a light yellowish-green, has some oranges on the underside, and some green barring on the top. They have a distinct yellow-orange on the crown, on the bend and speculum of the wings, and on the front of the cheeks. The beak is a horn colour becoming grey at the tip, the eye is orange, and the legs are a pale grey.

I thought it might be at first..but it had more intensified orange on the cheeks and only a uniform solid green through out the body. with a black beak and grey feet.

well, close but its wings didn't have any color except green, and here's a pic with a close match to the color on its cheeks (it was also below its eyes with more covering than a tiel's)

It was almost like this himming birds throat just not as shinny.
