I've never met or handled a red bellied before, but Tausi looks like a real charmer. Can't remember you saying, but how long has Tausi been a part of your life? Was he your first bird? I ask because even though I love each and every one of my birds, Stella was my first and we clearly have a special bond. I think it may be because for a while, it was just Stella and me -- lots of one on one time.

I've had Tausi just about a year and a half now, and he was just weaned when I got him. Quito came along first, but only by a couple of months. Funny, because Tausi and I did not instantly click at all. The breeder had him and his sister, and she was very outgoing and friendly, couldn't get enough attention. I couldn't even get close to him. Somehow I just knew he was the one, and it turned out to be so. I've often wished I could have taken them both though, she was a real character.
