Default Flightsuit For Senegals?

I'm looking for someone that uses the Flightsuit for their Senegal. According to their website, the Senegal is suppose to use the Small size so that is what I got. But I'm concern that the tail hole on the Flightsuit is too small for the broad short tail of the Senegal's.

Has anyone else used it? If so, how does it fit on your Sennie? You don't think the tail is too cramp?

Thanks.

I don't have a Senegal, but the flight suit sizes are usually right on. Are you sure you have it on correctly?

Thanks for the welcome, I've actually been stalking ParrotChatter for a while now

Well I'm not too sure how I can miss up putting it on? Holes for the legs, up and over the wings and then velcro it on. Is there something I'm missing?

Anyways the body is fine, it's just that I'm concern that the tail hole is too small. They(on their website) say that a Cockatiel should get a Medium size one and to me, the Cockatiel is slimmer than the Senegal. The only thing that makes the Cockatiel longer is their tails. So I'm comparing my Cockatiel and Sennie, my Sennie is bulkier and their body is about the same length. Only the Cockatiel's tail is longer, but that doesn't affect the flightsuit.

I'll try to grab a picture but I haven't use the flightsuit on my Sennie again yet. The tail looks way to cramp for me. I'm going to try to wait until the Medium size one arrives. I should have a picture up by tomorrow since I have to wait and snag my roommate's camera. Actually I'll take a picture with him modeling it so I can show you.

Thanks for the response.

I would just be worried that the medium may not fit snug enough around the body. Are you planning on using this as an outdoor 'restraint'? If so, I would want it to fit very snugly. If need be, maybe you could cut a little slit on each side (and sew around the edges to keep it sturdy and from fraying) to allow a little more room for the tail?

Surely for as long as flightsuits have been on the market and as many as they've sold, they've got the sizes down right.

Good luck getting it on him!

Thanks so much! I guess I'm just a worry wart. I guess I'll try to see how my cockatiel will like the Medium flightsuit. Just hope he doesn't take my fingers off once he sees what I have planned for me
