Re: sex of quaker? For many years my wife and I have cared for Monk Parakeets, what we have learned is the sexing issue is best determined by a dna sample.
But then Rose and I make bets, we both can tell the sex by the birds behavior.
So far.....we have always been right...
Just as with pigeons...the females are more submissive, timid, better manored.
Males are more active, louder, aggressive in nature.
Our Quakers are the same... |
