Default Ninja the builder

Ninja was recently relenguished to my wife and I, seems his owners were starting a new family and the baby was due and they simply couldn't give Ninja the attention he so deserved.
The little male green Quaker is such a pleasure to care for, he fits right in with our family.
One day my wife Rose Ann watched Ninja visit the Keets cage and take the rods that keep the water dish in place and return to his cage, he then began sticking the rod down through other toys she provides for him and this gave her an idea, provide sticks and straws and other safe things for him to build with and here's the results.

Then one day, the whole thing fell to the bottom of the cage and poor Ninja simply sat there in shock...oh well...time to start all over....HEHEHE...

Yepper, he built the whole thing himself...
He works so hard at it toooo.
Some of the feral Quakers nests are as big as a small house...
Ninja would be such a great benefit to a Quaker colony, he is a great builder.

Was Ninja in any of the first few pics? I looked but found no site of a Quaker among all the toys.

Ninja is in some of the pictures, "I know", so many toys...Hehehe.
Our birds are litterally..."Our World".
Rose Ann just brought the new bird down with her to visit me, she said our new family member is tired and doesn't know where his new home (cage) is, so she is heading out the door right now.
Money is very tight right now so she mentioned about getting the Keets a new cage and giving there old cage to our new baby.
Just as long as this new little bird has his own cage and a forever home here with us is all we are concerned about right now....he/she deserves this in the worse way.
& a bath, he/she needs to bathe so badly....
& Toys....many many toys.....
And if I know my Rose, this little bird will get the best we can offer...

My husband was quite taken by Quakers & loved it when I told him about their building abilities.

How often do you get him to start a new project & how does he handle the loss of a project?

Sweet photos.

Hope the New Sennie is Ok. Maybe will be friends with one of your birds - who knows? - although they are' t known to be terribly friendly birds. I get to bird sit one this spring - my would-be-bird from a friend.
By then you should have lots of advice for me.

I will tell Ninja for you Jessalyn & Ruby.
Ninja worked at the first nest for about 2 weeks, then it fell down and I found all his work at the bottom of the cage.
He seemed alittle upset but put that behind him and began building again.
I will keep an eye on the progress and snap some more photos later on.
