We have to head back up to Ottawa next weekend (11th, 12th, 13th) to pick my grandmother back up, we are going to stay up at my cousin's cottage for the weekend, and we will bring Oscar back home with us then. So just over a week.

What! - no Maple & Harley at the cottage! Are you taking the Quaker there as well as your Gran? - or is this just a couples weekend?

LOL!

My Nan is AT the cottage already. That is where we took her last weekend. We have to go back and get her so we can bring her to Pearson on the 15th to fly home to Newfoundland. (And pick my Mom up the same day!! I am soooo excited).

Anyway...Maple and Harley aren't coming, neither is Tiny...there just isn't room either in the car, OR in the cottage. Oscar is already at the cottage with his soon to be ex Mommy (My cousin Joyce - Maple's ex Mommy too).

So when we go to pick up my Nan we will pick up Oscar at the same time.

Hope that makes more sense LOL!!!

Rumor has it that my cousin is having second thoughts..ugh..she hasn't said anything to me ...so I hope it's just that. Guess I'll find out by next weekend lol.

If she changes her mind ..she does...I wouldn't wanna let the little guy go either.

Just ...if she does...

...well I just wish she never would have said anything to the little guy ya know...he's all excited now.

Oh well....we shall see what happens!

I adopted Shrek, my 20 yr old Quaker, last year and he is so much fun! He's the big fella around here but I'm not sure he realizes it. He's not noisy or nippy with me but is cage-possessive and not always friendly with other people. Even though he is 20, I can tell he has had lots of new experiences with me, like taking a shower and getting dishes full of veggies. Of course, with Oscar, he already knows you and you also know his background but, neverthe less, Kris, Oscar will add a whole different dimension to your flock. Good Luck!

Awwwwwwwwwww, Kris how awesome! I just know Oscar is going to be so happy to be with you and to be reunited with Maple. What a sweet gesture that your cousin entrusts the care of her little angel{s} with you. Like Jess would say "Your a good egg!".
