As to plucking Quakers, don't clip or cage him. It's what Quakers hate the most and what drives them to all aberrant behaviors (plucking, mutilating, screaming, biting). Other birds have other reasons why but, with Quakers, 99 out of 100 it's the deprivation of freedom that does it. |
