Hi Abby,
You will find they can't whistle, but they will attempt to mimic a whistle with there Quaker chatter, extremly cute.
They are excelent talkers, they will have little episodes during the day where they will say everything that is taught to them, these little episodes last for about ten minutes with sometimes 3 episodes a day, I have been trying to get our Quakers recorded, but as soon as either the wife and I go into there room, the talking spree ends.
We sit close so they can't see us and listen to there little speech sprees.
You will enjoy your little Blues, there not only little beautiful wonders, they are great talkers....
Take Care

Abby they are just gorgeous! I want one! I can't belive I have only just seen pictures of them. I think two are actually quiter then one, Miroki was a noisy thing and I think it was mainly becuase he was the only quaker here.

It would be an added bonus if they start talking Arty, as long as they don't learn from my potty mouth lorikeet (who picked things up from his potty mouth owner ). I'm just enjoying them so much. Not sure if 2 is any quieter or not. At this stage the quakes are in my office/birdroom with the lorikeets and Dharma. (They'll be out in the aviaries next Aussie summer) It gets absolutely deafening in here some times, but I'm still finding the lorikeets (one in particular) are the noisiest.

Wait a couple more years until they're old enough then we'll talk about it. I've already got one other baby booked to go to Qld and poor Xuxa and Pele still have another 2 years before they're old enough to breed let alone successfully have babies. Now just remember Pele and Xuxa there is no performance pressure here.
