Default I have Pionus, if you want to see pic's

Hi,
I was reading the threads in here about Pionus and not many folk owning them.
I have two breeding pairs of Pionus, blue headed and Bronze wing. The blue heads had two chicks this year and I hand reared them. They are real nice to hand rear and full of fun.

Here are a couple of pic's of the chicks.

Very pretty, those babies are beyond cute! I love the iridescent colors on the adults.

Love the BH Pi's - Nice photos. Keep posting - i read the same thread - & lots of photos.

Can you tell us a story to go with the parents? Why did you get into breeding them? - how are they as pairs? You said you hand raised those 2 - do you do this on purpose? or has that happened before & was it because the parents may have been hand raised?

Beautiful birds. Wish you lived in the states and I'd buy both from ya. I have one (not sure of sex yet), so I need a playmate for him/her/it...... Curiosity question (if ya don't mind): How much American $$$ can you get for a baby BHP where you live?

Thanks Sweets, appreciate that info. also.

So, if I figured that correctly - a BHP costs only about $120 U.S. $$$ = great price, I'm moving.

Yes you figured right, but keep in mind, salaries don't work out so much when you convert to $
