Default Plet toys

So I have a couple toys I made in Tahoes cage. One is made of those chinese finger traps, cut in half, strung on cotton rope with beads inbetween each trap. Total of 6 half traps. He LOVES it and has already destroyed half of it
then I made another one that was 2 itty bitty munch balls, and 'over' each munch ball I threaded organic corn cob. It looks like the munch balls are wrapped in the corn cob. He loves it- and its slowly getting smaller and smaller.
How do you keep your little shredders in toys?! I am used to the bigger beaks, and my bigger beaks go through toys more slowly. I went to Michaels the other day and picked some some thin cuts of Balsa wood, and thin wood cutouts for him to buzzsaw through- but I can see they are not going to hold up for long.
Toy input from parrotlet owners wanted, LOL

Get little cat balls. Go to the store and get a bag of those cute cat toys, the plastic balls with the little bell inside, Pickles LOVES! So that's her input lol. Anything that has a bell on it and shreddable stuff is a must!

I didn't mean to reply before writing. Anyway, abover and here are some toys Chipper loves. I will add more. Chipper doesn't ruin any toys. She does chew on wood toys, but doesnt' do a whole lot of damage. You can see where she chewed some wood. [IMG][/IMG]

Pickles doesn't shred either, she LOVES wood toys. I'll get a picture of some of the toys Pickles adores.

Default Mine like any toys

Olivia likes shreddy things and BELLS. If she can make a racket beating up on her bell toys she is happy. Benji prefers plastic parakeet toys. The little cheapy ones you can get at the supermarket. He also likes things that move and have mirrors. He has one plastic spinning mirror toy that he plays with for hours. They both love things that move like swings and boings with thoys hanging on them. Shreddy toys- I buy finger traps from Oriental Trading Co several bags at a time. Corn husks are great shredders. They also both like Bird Kabobs, the smallest size. I keep a food dish in Benji's cage that I fill with all kinds of little plastic things, springs, buttons, cat balls, little plastic toys. He loves to throw everything out onto the floor of his cage. Then I put them all back in and he throws them out again.
