Default Parrotlet survey

Hi guys. There is some information I need to gather on parrotlets and would like to ask questions to those of you that have them. The explanation of the survey is in the Parrot Chatter forum. I'm going to keep close track of who says what, in case I need to come back and ask someone something specific. I suppose for the first question, who on here owns one or more parrotlets? If you own more than one, will you tell me how many you own?

i own 1 blue mutation parrotlet, named winkie. he took about a month to really stop biting. they can bite HARD.
they are active little buggers & eat a LOT for a bird that weighs less than an oz. they need at least 12 hrs of sleep every night or they get grouchy.

at the moment it's all i can think of.

I couldn't find the explanation you spoke of above but I have two parrotlets. Bailey is a Green Pacific Parrotlet who's almost 2 1/2 years old and I have Olivia who is a Green Rump Parrotlet who is 7 years old now. Their personalaties could not be more opposite. Olivia is the Pitt Bull and Bailey is Chicken Little.
What else would you like to know?

I have a Blue Pacific Parrotlet. His name is Tommaso. He started talking a few words when he was 5 months old. He loves alot of attention, (which I gladly give him). He also has lots of energy.

I thank everyone for their responses so far. I can't wait to start responding and asking more questions. Jim, I didn't know you got a parrotlet? How exciting!

I have three parrotlets.

Female Pacific Lutino/Blue (visually blue)
Male Green Pacific (no splits)
Male Green split to blue Pacific

My oldest two I've had for over a year and no behavioral issues other than they think they are macaws trapped inside a 3 inch body. The eat, play and poop and when they bite you know you've been bitten.

My oldest two went to nest earlier this year and once she laid her eggs my female plucked a brooder's patch and placed one of her plucked feathers under each egg.
