She is very beautiful. When she is a bit older maybe you can get a large and wide cage. They really need very large cages with lots and lots of toys.

Miss Daisy is a real cutie. Go slow with her and you will be fine. If it takes a month or two for her to come around, don't worry about it as she will be with you for a long time.

This is also true. I got Winkie around the same age as your Daisy. He was barely 3 mths old. It took about a month for him to really warm up to us. (For me it took even longer!) I was - & still am - his primary caregiver - I did all the dirty work. As a result of that he would not preen on me until January sometime. He still doesn't care for hands, but will now step up w/out attempting to bite your fingers off.
