I have a parrotlet Kiwi...I took her in last summer becuase my teenage niece was not caring for her properly...she is the cutest little thing and pretty much only likes me because I am the only one who spends time with her. she hates my husband and honeslty I think he is a bit afraid of her!!!! LOL...she is about four years old.

Hey Jenna,

Does it count if I'm getting one on Friday? I'm adopting a 6 yo blue male named Kiwi. He was a hand fed baby but he's been a little neglected this past year. (Their kids are all in high school now...) I'm hoping he'll adjust well, and become more social again. I love it when my budgie, Peep, steps up and lands on my shoulder after flying around.
