Buddy's New Cage!!!!!!!!!

As some of you know when I got Buddy(parrotlet), we had a small cage to begin with until we could get a bigger one. We, I think went over board but, he loves his new cage. I have a picture here and will have this pictures on my profile albums.

Nice cage. I had to really search for Buddy in his new cage. Then I saw the happy little guy.

That is so sweet - look at all that fun stuff in there! I too had a hard time finding Buddy but the glare was part of it - I found myself squinting at the photo

Sure hope he likes it. I see lots of Boings or rope perches on the outside - looks like he gets to use all the surfaces.

Should Parrotlets have a longer cage, or a taller one? I have a little "travel" cage (9"x12"x15.5") to pick Kiwi up in on Friday, but I'll definitley need to get him a new cage this weekend. (Payday on Friday!)

Peep, my YF Violet Budgie is in a Preview Finch Flight cage, it's 30"widex18"x18". Should I get the same cage for Kiwi, or look for a tall one? I like the idea of stacking the cages, I don't have much furniture in my apartment yet! (Still have a mattress on the floor!)

The rule is the bigger the better but, Buddy didnt really need that big or tall of cage. Its just the one we liked and it was like $70 here in MI, a secret Place we go to LOL. They also say that they need a flight cage. So a little roomy LOL.

I like the wider than taller cages so they can fly back and forth. My Grand Budgies have the 30 wide one also.

Lovely cage, looks like he has loads of room in there. I love those bendy perches as well. I keep thinking about getting a couple, as I find the straight ones so limiting. But I still haven't bought them as I keep seeing other nice perches, but I know I will regret buying more straight ones.

Anyway well done Buddy is going to love you for getting such a wonderful new home for him!
