Default back from the vet..........

poor Cricket. He has a bacteria. Clavamox every 12 hours for two weeks. Probably came home with it. He came thru all the tests like a champ. Not even so much as a peep. Cricket is so cool!!! They drew blood and did the swabs and all went very smoothly!!!
I also am going to use the ol' apple cider vinegar in the water trick for the next two weeks as well. When Benji goes in for his check up Cricket goes to get re checked.

Hope he's better soon!

Lulu came home with a bacterial infection when we first got her and I've read that simply the stress of moving to a new home can lower their immune systems and trigger this - so I wouldn't worry too much, but it's good that you know about it and it's being treated.

Jim sorry about the bacteria infection! If you are using ACV make sure the bird is drinking, the ACV will help keep a yeast infection at bay but don't use it at the expense of of the bird not drinking. What type of bacterial infection did the vet say Cricket has?

Keep us posted.
