Soooo, there's no such thing as a blue parrotlet?
I know very little about these little wonders?
I know I want to be able to care for one, met a breeder the otherday that was caring for a injured racing pigeon that I rescued.
This person offered one to me very cheap, but I do not sell or buy life...soooo that kinda put an end to that...
your babies look awesome...
There is such a thing as a blue Parrotlet. It is a mutation and blues are beautiful. Male greens have a blue rump and blue flight feathers. That is what showed up in the baby picture. There are also yellow, white, pied and dilutes of those colors. Also albino and [ maybe] lutino.
Those babies are so cute... I thought I posted on this thread... So sorry... I have been watching them grow... they sure are little pigs, are they not?
Thanks for letting us watch them grow, with you..
All I know is I miss the linnies that are on the counter at BP...I was the one who asked to get them in and they were every bit a delight as Jack (Owner of BP) said they would be...The slate/Mauve coloring is my fav color but theyre all sweet...I loved when they would burrow under the colored carefresh and blend in...*thought to self-weren't there 3 yellow linnies in here ?*And then we would find the 3rd one hiding in the corner of the "scrambled eggs"..lol
