Merlin and Raeka are the only ones with water cups the others have bottles. Merlin never makes soup, but Raeka....every single bloody day! I dont know what it is about that soup that they like so much.

Kady never dunked anything in his water until Kita joined us. I swear he learned it from her and now they both make soup!

I have the water bottles with a beak size trough to drink out of, not the kind people use for hamsters with a tube and a ball thingy. They can't get any junk in their water.

All three of my macaws are dunkers (I swear by G.S.E.). My one eclectus - this is really gross- he drinks and then regurgitates into his water. You don't even want to know what the water looks like by the time I get home. Again, thank goodness for G.S.E.!

Ro loves to make soup. She fills up as much as she can get in her beak from one of her food bowls then carries it over to her water bowl (she has one right next to her this food dish, but she doesn't make soup in that bowl) then she drops everything in to soak and eats it. She has 3 water bowls in her cage - one she always makes soup in, another she never makes soup in and a third she sometimes make soup in.

Itty Bitty our Caique is a dunker we keep 2 water bowls in her cage and I thought for sure she would make soup with both but darn if she doesn't only do it with one and keeps the other clean for drinking...she is just something, that girl.
