Oh, no, no, no cold for sweet Ruby Girl! I cringe my teeth everytime I see the pictures of that man showing off by walking in the snow with tropical birds! Hasn't he heard of evolution and speciation?! Doesn't he care just a tiny little bit for them? It's like those zoos that keep the poor polar bears outside in the summer! Animals evolve to live in a particular environment and forcing them to endure such unnatural conditions is nothing short of cruelty!

Maybe you could get Ruby some paints and she could be paint her mom a pic. Just think she could end up being a famous painter! When she sells all her paintings she would buy her mom a house in a warmer place!
It was cold cold here on the weekend with windchill -23 C thats almost -10 F I could go in the freezer where it would be warmer.

Hi Bea! I feel so sorry for the zoo animals here in the summer too. You know I'll keep spoiling that silly goose! ha! I always tell her if she is wanting something to eat, that she can't have, Miss Bea wouldn't like her to have it. ha! I think she knows what "cold" means now too. Sometimes she likes to play with an ice cube and I'll tell her "cooold". So she seems to settle down when she says "Outside?" and I say "No, it's cooold Ruby!".

You know, I saw an elephant paint a picture once. Of course, I think she'd eat the paint brush and get metal poisoning before she ever painted a stroke. ha! Maybe she could try with a crayon.

Morning Maggy! Yep, we will go save our northern friends (they are foreigners too) just as soon as we get the little red balls sewn on the tips of our matching caps.
