Well, that other macaw has a very sassy mouth and actually squaked at Ruby! So for that it got a good pecking!

Sweet Ruby. - she can come over here & tell these Budgies to get off my head & stop trying to type by landing on the keys! Laker & Rio both love their mirror friends. They get into long discussions, no one else will listen to, I'm sure.

There was a time that I had to reduce Laker's mirror time - he'd get pretty 'hepped up' & his crest would rise & the glass got a lot of tapping.

Then there are the times they feed the mirrors.

Ruby talks also to the mirror in the hallway. She says "step-up, step-up, STEP-UP!!" then she will bob her head at it, but the bird in the bathroom is really very mean.
