I forgot to mention I bought a brand new cage that is quite large... My budgie and tiel are in there now! They seem to like each other, they kind of just do their own thing actually. My budgie immediately crawled down from his old cage when I brought the new one home and made his way up to the bigger cage... He could not be happier in his new home, and loves his new toys! haha

By chance did you get the cage and 'tiel at Cage World in Mesa? That's where I presently work.

He's a handsome boy, and you can hardly go wrong with a nice, tame cockatiel :-). Congratulations!

Hello BGMacaw!! Yes I bought Sparky at your store! You talked to my fiance and I... we were in looking and playing with all your kids in there... Thanks for the advice of this website as you can tell it was very helpful! We got a tiel out of the cage to the right of the reception area, he was the only one that warmed up to us... We will bring him in to visit soon! They were around 6 months right... the kid that was there wasn't real sure...?

I thought your story sounded familiar. The tiels on the floor usually range between 5 and 9 months. Hope to talk to you soon.
