Awesome video!

Those are Chris Biro's birds. I've always enjoyed reading his articles about the training he does. It has to be a phenomenal experience to witness the trained birds in flight.

Last March he held a seminar on the ranch with several well noted speakers. I haven't seen if he's hosting one this year.

If you Google, you'll find lots of info about him and the training he does for free flight.

Very beautiful. I must admit, the one thing that kept running through my mind was "Id be so scared they might not come back!" Arent there lots of raptors out there?

There is always that concern. But I have been flying parrots outdoors since 1993 and so far have not lost any to hawk attacks. We have had a couple close calls and over 30 hawk attacks but so far the birds have all made it through them alive. It can be tough to balance the benefits vs the risks and each of us must make that choice for ourselves.

I couldn't look away from the screen! That was incredible! It's one thing to see my pigeons flying outside, but to see 6 huge macaws flying together is something entirely different!

They are incredible! I watched another vid of a sun conure free-flying in a soccer field w/ the 2 BT Macaws. Amazing & awe-inspiring.
